• Execute high-volume currency exchange transactions (USD, EUR, GBP, PLN) at fluctuating daily rates.
• Process cash deposits and withdrawals: manual counting and high-speed counter machine operation.
• Verify banknote authenticity using UV, magnetic, and IR detectors, plus manual tactile inspection.
• Maintain the cash drawer ledger: log every transaction, issue receipts, and balance the till at shift start/end.
• Generate daily and weekly cash reconciliation reports for the accounting department.
• Handle client disputes calmly: perform transparent recounts with witnesses if a discrepancy is alleged.
• Act as a Shift Lead: cover other branch locations as needed and train junior tellers on counterfeit detection.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 1+ year of experience as a bank teller, currency exchange cashier, or retail cash handler.
• Sharp eye for detail: ability to spot counterfeit bills even without a machine.
• Mathematical precision: zero tolerance for cash drawer shortages.
