🚜 **Agricultural Equipment Sales Manager**
🏢 **About Us:** An official dealer of premium agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, tillage equipment) in Des Moines, IA, is hiring a Sales Manager. We serve large agribusinesses and family farms across the Midwest.
🌾 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Lead and mentor a team of 4–6 Equipment Sales Representatives: set quotas, review complex deals, and join initial agribusiness meetings.
• Personally negotiate with key decision-makers: farm owners, chief agronomists, and technical directors.
• Organize and execute field demonstrations: coordinate land access, prep the machinery, involve agronomists, and track yield results.
• Manage the full deal lifecycle: from contract signing to final payment, including leasing/financing coordination and state registration.
• Plan for seasonal peaks: manage team workload during spring planting and fall harvest rushes.
• Partner with the Service Department: leverage warranty and post-sale maintenance as key selling points.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 3+ years of B2B sales or management experience in agricultural equipment, ag-tech, or heavy machinery.
• Deep understanding of farming operations: crop cycles, agronomy, and the needs of farms at various scales.
• Ability to read technical manuals and explain machinery advantages to agronomists and mechanics.
• Willingness to travel extensively to farms and field demos.

• Target Salary: $110,000 USD base + team override commissions (Season OTE $150k+).
