🏢 **About Us:** A fast-growing IT outsourcing firm in Austin, TX, is hiring an Account Manager to nurture and expand our SMB and mid-market client base in the US and UK. The dev teams are in place; we need the bridge between the client and the engineering floor.
🤝 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Act as the primary client contact post-contract: run weekly syncs, manage email threads, and provide project status updates.
• Translate business requirements into actionable dev tasks (Jira/Trello), aligning priorities with the engineering team.
• Track milestones and deadlines: proactively alert clients to timeline shifts and manage expectations.
• Resolve conflicts: handle production bugs, spec misunderstandings, and client dissatisfaction with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Identify upsell opportunities: propose new modules, team expansion, or technical audits.
• Deliver monthly client reports: completed work, WIP, and next month's roadmap.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 1.5+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Project Manager, or Customer Success in IT outsourcing.
• Fluent English (B2+ minimum) for daily written and verbal communication with US/UK clients.
• Basic technical literacy: understanding of sprints, APIs, QA, and deployments to speak the same language as devs and clients.
• Ability to stay calm, structured, and empathetic while managing 5–8 concurrent projects.
