🏢 **About Us:** A leading HVAC equipment distributor in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring a Wholesale Account Manager. We represent premium brands like Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Gree, and Midea, plus a wide range of ventilation equipment. Our clients are mechanical contractors, dealers, and general contractors. We have a legacy client base and a mandate to acquire new business.
🛠️ **Core Responsibilities:**
• Manage assigned accounts (contractors and dealers): process requests, spec equipment for projects, and generate invoices.
• Prepare technical specifications for commercial projects: select chillers, VRF systems, and AHUs, and calculate cooling loads.
• Manage the deal lifecycle: from request to delivery, negotiating configurations, lead times, and payment terms.
• Hunt for new business: cold call mechanical contractors and bid on public sector projects (schools, hospitals, municipal buildings).
• Manage accounts receivable: send payment reminders and negotiate credit extensions with management.
• Provide technical support: advise on installation best practices and collaborate with the engineering team on complex specs.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 1+ year of B2B technical sales experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or building materials).
• Basic HVAC knowledge: inverter vs. non-inverter compressors, VRF/VRV systems, and airflow principles.
• Proficient in Excel; CRM/ERP experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication: ability to speak the language of mechanical contractors (direct, practical, and efficient).
