🥛 **Route Sales Representative (Dairy / Perishables)**
🏢 **About Us:** A premier dairy distributor in Miami, FL, is hiring a Route Sales Rep with a personal vehicle. Dairy is a highly specific, fast-moving category with short shelf lives and strict temperature requirements. We need someone who understands these risks and knows how to minimize returns while maximizing shelf presence.
🚐 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Start at 6:00 AM at the warehouse: receive goods, check expiration dates, and load the vehicle (refrigerated van preferred).
• Execute daily routes (20–30 stops): private stores, kiosks, and small supermarkets.
• Collect orders for dairy products (milk, kefir, sour cream, cheese, yogurt).
• Merchandise: stock coolers, control Share of Shelf, and ensure price tags are visible.
• Manage expiration dates: rotate stock (FIFO) and process return/write-off acts for expired goods.
• Handle payments: collect cash, process terminal payments, and manage accounts receivable.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Must own a reliable vehicle (fuel and depreciation reimbursed).
• 1+ year of experience with perishable goods and merchandising.
• Neat, punctual (you can't haul dairy in the heat for 5 hours), and able to build rapport with store owners.
