Our production and warehouse complex on the outskirts of Des Moines is equipped with modern cleaning, calibrating, and packaging machinery.
🌱 **Core Duties:**
1) Perform meticulous manual and semi-automated sorting to remove non-viable, damaged, or off-spec seeds on the processing line.
2) Bag calibrated, finished seeds into branded paper and polypropylene sacks (10 kg, 25 kg, and 50 lb capacities).
3) Accurately weigh filled sacks on electronic platform scales to meet strict packaging tolerances.
4) Sew sacks securely using industrial bag-closing machines and verify seam integrity.
5) Apply informational labels detailing seed variety, batch number, packaging date, and net weight.
6) Stack packed sacks onto wooden pallets and prepare them for forklift transport to the storage zone.
📋 **Requirements:**
1) Good visual memory, high concentration, attention to detail, and no allergies to agricultural dust or plant materials.
2) Results-oriented, neat, disciplined, and compliant with technological regulations.
3) Physical stamina for lifting sacks and prolonged standing.
4) Experience in agriculture or bulk food warehousing is a strong advantage.
