⚙️ **CNC Lathe Operator (Turning Center)**
🏢 **About Us:** A modern machine-building enterprise specializing in the mass production of high-precision metal parts, assemblies, and mechanisms for the automotive, aerospace, and agricultural sectors is hiring a CNC Lathe Operator. Our shop floor in Cleveland is equipped with the latest metalworking centers featuring American HAAS control systems.
🔧 **Core Duties:**
• Setup and operate CNC turning/milling machines (HAAS, Fanuc controls) according to process routing sheets.
• Machine high-precision metal parts of varying complexity (shafts, bushings, flanges, fittings) from steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous alloys.
• Select optimal cutting regimes, install and replace cutting tools (inserts, drills, end mills).
• Adjust control programs directly from the machine controller to compensate for tool wear.
• Perform in-process and final dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and thread gauges.
• Monitor machine condition, coolant levels, and perform daily cleaning/maintenance.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Technical degree (CNC Machinist, Tool & Die Maker, or equivalent).
• 1+ years of experience operating CNC lathes with HAAS or Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints, GD&T, and setup diagrams.
• Knowledge of cutting tool geometry, sharpening principles, and metal machining properties.
