🍵 **Tea Packaging Line Operator**
🏢 **About Us:** A modern tea blending and packaging factory, importing raw materials from the best plantations in Ceylon, India, and China, is hiring Packaging Line Operators. Our facility in Seattle is equipped with cutting-edge packaging lines and guarantees high standards of food safety and hygiene.
📦 **Core Duties:**
1. Monitor the uninterrupted operation of automated lines packaging loose-leaf and bagged tea.
2. Manually or semi-automatically pack finished tea boxes and cartons into large corrugated shipping cases.
3. Conduct rigorous visual checks on packaging hermeticity, cellophane wrap integrity, and tea bag tag attachment.
4. Form, label, and sticker shipping cases with tea variety, production date, and shift/batch codes.
5. Stack packed cases onto wooden pallets and prepare them for transport to the finished goods warehouse.
6. Maintain workplace cleanliness and strictly adhere to FDA/GMP food safety and hygiene protocols.
📋 **Requirements:**
1. High stamina, excellent motor coordination, fast hand movements, and attention to detail.
2. Conscientiousness, neatness, and willingness to perform repetitive tasks over long shifts.
3. Valid food handler card or willingness to undergo a medical exam prior to starting.
4. Prior experience in food or packaging manufacturing is a plus (we provide full training).
