🏢 **About Us:** A powerful, modern manufacturing plant producing contemporary building and finishing materials is hiring Packaging Operators for our dry mix facility. Our plant in Columbus is equipped with high-tech automated dosing and packaging equipment, ensuring stable operations and a safe working environment.
⚠️ **Important Note:** While our HR portal may list this role with a "remote" tag for administrative convenience (e.g., approving shift schedules, ordering HR certificates, or completing online safety quizzes), the actual labor is 100% physical and requires your daily, on-site presence at the plant in Columbus.
📦 **Core Duties:**
• Operate automatic and semi-automatic dosing equipment for cement, plaster, tile adhesive, and putty.
• Swiftly attach empty paper valve bags to the filling spouts of the packaging machinery.
• Continuously monitor the weight of filled bags via inline checkweighers to ensure compliance with packaging standards.
• Neatly stack and palletize heavy bags (50 lb and 100 lb) onto wooden pallets according to strict stacking patterns.
• Wrap finished pallets with stretch film and attach shipping labels and batch documentation.
• Clean up spilled materials and maintain a tidy, safe workspace throughout the entire shift.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Solid physical build, high stamina, and readiness for continuous heavy lifting.
• Neatness, discipline, and no medical contraindications to working with industrial dust.
• Prior experience in construction, warehousing, or manufacturing is a strong advantage (we also provide on-the-job training).
