• Organize and directly lead the shift crew of welders, steel fitters, and general laborers.
• Ensure clear execution of the shift production plan and strict adherence to steel structure delivery schedules.
• Continuously monitor the quality of welded joints and seams using visual and dimensional inspection methods per blueprints.
• Distribute tasks among shift workers; enforce labor discipline, OSHA safety rules, and fire safety protocols.
• Monitor the rational use of rolled metal, welding consumables, tools, and shop supplies.
• Swiftly resolve technical and organizational issues during the shift; liaise with technologists and the QC department.
• Maintain production logs, prepare shift reports, and fill out safety briefing journals.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Vocational or higher engineering degree (specialization: welding production or metalworking).
• 2+ years of experience as a Shop Master, Team Lead, or Shift Supervisor in a steel fabrication shop.
• Ability to freely read complex mechanical and structural blueprints (AWS/AISC standards); knowledge of welding technologies.
• Leadership qualities, high responsibility, demanding standards, and the ability to organize people and make rapid decisions.
