⚠️ **Important Note:** The "remote" tag in our system is strictly for working with digital tech packs, CAD pattern making, and coordinating with designers via the cloud. The core duties of a Chief Technologist require your constant, on-site presence on the factory floor in Los Angeles to manage production and control quality.
🧵 **Core Duties:**
• Develop and implement optimal technological sewing sequences for new apparel models.
• Calculate precise consumption rates for threads, fabrics, trims, and other materials per model.
• Conduct continuous quality control of garment assembly at all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Organize and distribute tasks among sewers, shift supervisors, cutters, and pressers.
• Enforce adherence to established quality standards, norms, and technological instructions.
• Train personnel on new garment processing methods and the operation of modern specialized equipment.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Degree or diploma in Apparel Manufacturing Technology or Fashion Design.
• 3+ years of experience as a Technologist or Chief Technologist in apparel manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of sewing technologies for various garments, textile science, and component processing methods.
• Familiarity with modern sewing equipment, automation attachments, and pattern drafting.
