🏢 **About Us:** A modern, high-tech European-class major home appliance manufacturing plant is hiring a Shift Supervisor for our assembly department. Our large production facility is located in Louisville, KY, ensuring comfortable, safe, and fully on-site working conditions.
👷♂️ **Core Duties:**
• Directly monitor the pace and speed of the automated washing machine assembly conveyor.
• Rationally assign subordinate workers to assembly stations based on their skill level and current production needs.
• Continuously control assembly quality at each stage, preventing the release of defective products.
• Ensure rhythmic execution of the shift production plan regarding quantitative and qualitative metrics.
• Organize the swift resolution of technical line delays in collaboration with on-call maintenance mechanics and electricians.
• Manage shift personnel time-tracking, fill out shift reports, and maintain production logs.
• Enforce OSHA safety rules, internal labor discipline, and fire safety protocols.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Vocational or higher technical education (Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role (Shift Master, Team Lead, or Shift Supervisor) in manufacturing.
• Prior experience on assembly conveyor lines for home appliances or electronics is a strong advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills, leadership qualities, ability to make rapid decisions under stress, and team management capabilities.
