💊 **Head of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Solid Dosage)**
🏢 **About Us:** A modern, dynamic pharmaceutical company specializing in the production of certified medicinal products in strict accordance with international GMP standards is hiring a Head of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. Our modern plant is located in Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC.
⚠️ **Important Note:** The "remote" tag is strictly for working with FDA registration dossiers, QMS reporting, and communicating with regulatory bodies. The core duties of a Chief Technologist require your regular, on-site presence in the production halls and cleanrooms in RTP to manage equipment and control product quality.
🧪 **Core Duties:**
1) Develop, implement, and update technological protocols, instructions, and batch records for tablet manufacturing.
2) Continuously monitor wet and dry granulation, blending, tablet compression, and film-coating processes.
3) Conduct process and equipment validation/qualification in collaboration with the Quality Assurance department.
4) Analyze root causes of production deviations, develop, and implement effective CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
5) Train production floor personnel on cGMP rules, equipment operation SOPs, and safety protocols.
6) Participate in the selection and testing of new excipients, APIs, and packaging materials.
🎓 **Requirements:**
1) Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biotechnology.
2) 3+ years of experience as a Technologist or Chief Technologist in pharmaceutical manufacturing (solid dosage forms).
3) Deep knowledge of cGMP standards, Pharmacopoeia requirements, and tabletting processes.
4) Understanding of modern tablet presses, granulators, coaters, and cleanroom HVAC systems.
