🏢 **About Us:** A modern, European-class grain elevator complex specializing in the receiving, cleaning, drying, and long-term storage of grain and oilseed crops is hiring a Conveyor Operator. Our technological facility is located in Omaha, NE.
⚙️ **Core Duties:**
• Service, start, and monitor the uninterrupted operation of vertical leg elevators, chain conveyors, and belt conveyors.
• Directly control the loading of silos and grain warehouses with various types of grain.
• Adjust the position of technological gates, sluices, and diverters to route grain flows to the appropriate silos.
• Conduct visual inspection of grain during transport, preventing spills and equipment blockages.
• Timely clean internal elevator cavities, conveyor belts, and the surrounding area from dust, husks, and grain residue.
• Swiftly detect mechanical equipment defects (belt wear, tension loss, unusual reducer noise) and notify maintenance.
• Strictly adhere to fire and explosion safety protocols, as working with grain dust requires extreme vigilance.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Vocational/technical education or high school diploma (technical focus preferred).
• Prior experience as a conveyor operator, cleaning machine operator, or general laborer at grain elevators is highly desired.
• Understanding of belt/chain conveyor mechanics, leg elevators, and shut-off valves.
• Physical stamina, no allergies to grain dust, attentiveness, and readiness for on-site shop floor work.
