🏢 **About Us:** A modern manufacturing enterprise specializing in high-precision sheet metal processing and the production of industrial enclosures is hiring a CNC Turret Punch Operator for our fabrication shop. Our plant is located in Cincinnati, OH.
⚠️ **Important Note:** The "remote" system tag is solely for digital shift scheduling, loading production queues, and completing online safety training. Operating heavy sheet metal machinery requires your regular, on-site physical presence at the machine in our Cincinnati shop.
🛠️ **Core Duties:**
• Setup and operate modern CNC turret punch presses (e.g., Trumpf or Amada).
• Perform bending, coordinate punching, and perforation operations on sheet metal of varying thicknesses.
• Independently replace, setup, and align punches and dies for specific material types and part thicknesses.
• Load prepared control programs into the CNC controller and launch the machining process.
• Continuously monitor part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Swiftly detect tool wear and prevent the formation of burrs on metal edges.
• Perform scheduled press maintenance: topping up oil, cleaning the work zone, and clearing the scrap bin.
📋 **Requirements:**
• Vocational/technical education (CNC Setup or Machine Operator profile).
• 1+ year of experience operating CNC turret punch or press brakes.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and work with standard measuring instruments.
• High responsibility, attention to detail, and readiness for on-site production work.
