Description
A well-established facility management company in the Greater Chicago area is looking for a reliable Emergency Plumber & Service Technician to join our rapid-response team. We handle commercial properties and large residential complexes, meaning no two days are ever the same.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Responding to urgent dispatch calls for burst pipes, severe blockages, and heating failures.
- Performing preventative maintenance on boiler systems, water heaters, and commercial-grade fixtures.
- Installing and troubleshooting PEX, copper, and PVC piping systems.
- Reading blueprints to diagnose hidden leaks behind drywall or under concrete slabs.
What we need from you:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing or emergency services.
- A valid Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification.
- Your own basic set of hand tools (we provide power tools and heavy machinery).
- A clean driving record and the ability to work irregular hours, including weekends.
We offer a base salary of $65,000 USD per year, plus overtime pay for emergency call-outs. You will be provided with a fully stocked company van, uniform, and continuous training on the latest smart-water leak detection systems. This is a strictly on-site role requiring your physical presence in Chicago.
