We are seeking an experienced EIFS Installer to join our exterior renovation team in Madrid. Our company specializes in energy-efficient building upgrades, and you will be the key craftsman ensuring our buildings are insulated, weatherproofed, and finished to a high aesthetic standard.
[ ] Preparing the substrate by cleaning the facade, installing starter tracks, and ensuring the wall is plumb and ready for insulation boards.
[ ] Mechanically fixing and adhesively bonding expanded polystyrene (EPS) or mineral wool boards to the exterior walls.
[ ] Applying the base coat and embedding the alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh to create a strong, impact-resistant layer.
[ ] Troweling on the decorative finish coats, such as acrylic or silicone renders, achieving the specified texture (e.g., K-cratch or smooth finish).
[ ] Installing architectural details like cornices, window sills, and drip profiles to ensure water management and visual appeal.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working with Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems or traditional rendering. You must be completely comfortable working on scaffolding and swing stages at various heights. A strong understanding of building physics, specifically thermal bridging and moisture management, is highly valued. You should take pride in your work, ensuring every corner is crisp and every surface is flawless.
We offer a gross annual salary of €42,000, plus project completion bonuses. You will be supplied with all necessary scaffolding, trowels, mixing drills, and PPE. This is a strictly on-site role, working Monday through Friday at our active construction projects across Madrid.
