Join our security integration team in Dublin as a Low Voltage Technician. We design and install comprehensive security and life safety systems for commercial offices, retail spaces, and high-end residential properties. If you enjoy working with technology, pulling clean cable, and configuring smart systems, this is the role for you.
1) Pulling and terminating low voltage cables, including Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial, through conduits, ceiling spaces, and walls.
2) Installing and aiming IP surveillance cameras, ensuring optimal coverage and configuring network settings for remote viewing.
3) Mounting and wiring intrusion detection systems, including motion sensors, door contacts, and glass break detectors.
4) Programming and commissioning alarm control panels and access control systems, integrating them with the client's network.
5) Testing all circuits, troubleshooting signal issues, and providing basic training to the client's staff on system operation.
We require at least 1 year of experience in low voltage or security installation. You must understand basic networking concepts, IP addressing, and how to use a cable tester and crimping tools. The ability to read architectural and electrical drawings is essential. You should be neat, organized, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
We offer a salary of €45,000 EUR per year, plus a company van and a fuel card. You will receive all specialized testing equipment and PPE. This is a fully on-site position, traveling to various client locations across Dublin and the surrounding counties.
