A major civil engineering and construction contractor currently executing a massive mixed-use development in the heart of Munich is looking for a highly skilled Construction Surveyor to join our site team. This is a critical role where your precision directly impacts the structural integrity and architectural alignment of the entire project.
You will be responsible for the complete geodetic support of the construction process. From the initial setting out of the building footprint to the continuous monitoring of the structure as it rises, your data will guide the concrete and steel crews. You will spend your days moving between the site office and the active construction zones, operating high-precision instruments in all weather conditions.
➤ Performing precise setting out for foundations, core walls, columns, and floor slabs using robotic total stations.
➤ Conducting regular as-built surveys to verify that the constructed elements match the engineered drawings within strict tolerances.
➤ Monitoring the structure for any settlement or deflection, analyzing the data, and reporting findings to the project engineers.
➤ Processing field data and generating detailed contour maps, cross-sections, and volume calculations for earthworks using Civil 3D.
➤ Maintaining and calibrating all surveying equipment, ensuring it is always in perfect working order.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or Civil Engineering and has at least 3 years of hands-on experience on large-scale construction sites. You must be an expert user of Leica or Trimble robotic total stations and GNSS rovers. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is mandatory. You need to have a strong spatial awareness, excellent problem-solving skills, and the physical stamina to navigate an active, often muddy, construction site.
We provide a gross annual salary of €68,000, supplemented by site allowances and overtime pay. You will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 30 days of paid vacation and a company pension scheme. All top-tier surveying equipment and PPE will be provided. This is a fully on-site position at our main project location in Munich.
