My career in the electrical trade started right after high school, diving straight into an apprenticeship with a mid-sized contracting firm in the Pacific Northwest. Over the past six years, I've transitioned from pulling wire in residential attics to managing complex commercial fit-outs and industrial panel upgrades.
From 2018 to 2021, I worked with Northwest Power Solutions, where I honed my skills in rough-in wiring for multi-family housing. I was the go-to guy for bending EMT and installing complex lighting control systems. By 2021, I moved to Apex Commercial Electric, taking on larger projects like medical offices and retail spaces. There, I led a small team of three, terminating 480V 3-phase panels and troubleshooting VFD issues on HVAC units.
I hold a Journeyman license and am fully versed in NEC codes. I'm looking to bring my meticulous approach to cable management and my deep understanding of low-voltage integration to a forward-thinking electrical contractor in the Austin area. I expect a salary around $75,000 USD and am ready to hit the ground running on-site.
