When it comes to interior finishes, I believe the difference between a good job and a great job is all in the preparation. I’ve been working in residential and commercial remodeling in the Chicagoland area for over seven years, focusing on drywall, framing, and high-end paint finishes.
My early career (2016–2019) was spent with a general contractor doing basement finishes and apartment turnovers. I learned how to frame metal studs, hang drywall, and tape joints to a Level 4 finish. But my real passion is in the finer details. Since 2020, I’ve been working on luxury custom homes, where I specialize in skim-coating walls to a glass-smooth finish, applying fiberglass mesh to prevent cracking, and using Festool sanders to keep dust to an absolute minimum.
I’m also highly experienced in installing various flooring types, from engineered hardwood to large-format porcelain tile, always ensuring the subfloor is perfectly leveled first. I use laser levels to guarantee every corner is crisp and every wall is dead plumb.
