Description

Working at heights requires a specific mindset: absolute focus, meticulous gear checks, and the ability to stay calm when the wind picks up. I’ve been working as a tower climber and structural rigger in the Pacific Northwest for nearly eight years, starting with a telecommunications contractor in 2015.

For the first three years, I was primarily involved in building and maintaining cell towers. This meant climbing lattice and monopole structures to install antennas, run coaxial cables, and mount microwave dishes. I became highly proficient in using fall protection gear, rigging heavy equipment to the tower, and performing rescue drills. Since 2019, I’ve transitioned into industrial rigging and structural steel erection for large-scale projects, including power plant upgrades and bridge construction. I’m experienced in operating chain falls, come-alongs, and hydraulic jacks to move massive components into place.

I hold current certifications for working at heights, rigging, and first aid/CPR. I’m looking for a challenging role with a heavy civil or telecom contractor in Seattle, targeting $70,000 USD. I’m physically conditioned, safety-obsessed, and willing to travel for extended outages.
