My background in drywall and painting spans over five years, starting in 2016 with a residential renovation crew in Alberta. I specialize in operating high-pressure airless spray rigs, specifically Graco and Wagner models, to apply primers, texture coats, and final paints on massive ceiling and wall areas. I’m highly proficient in setting up scaffolding, masking off sensitive areas, and ensuring proper ventilation. Before the paint even touches the wall, I spend hours skim-coating drywall joints and sanding them under halogen work lights to guarantee a flawless, defect-free surface. I understand the technical data sheets for various coatings, knowing exactly how viscosity and temperature affect the spray pattern.
