🏢 **About Us:**
A prominent dairy processing plant in Madison, WI, is hiring a Refrigerated Route Delivery Driver. We produce milk, yogurt, cheese, and sour cream. Maintaining the cold chain is our #1 priority. You will operate a dedicated refrigerated cargo van (Ford E-Transit or Isuzu NPR) and be responsible for both the vehicle and the reefer unit.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Cold Chain Delivery: Transport dairy products to 15-20 grocery stores and cafes daily.
• Temperature Monitoring: Continuously monitor and log the reefer unit temperature (must maintain +33°F to +42°F / +2°C to +6°C).
• Documentation: Manage BOLs, health department transit logs, and delivery receipts.
• Vehicle Care: Perform daily pre-trip inspections on both the chassis and the refrigeration unit.
• Cash Handling: Collect payments from independent stores and reconcile daily revenue.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid Driver's License (CDL Class B or Non-CDL depending on GVWR).
• Active Food Handler Certificate / Health Department Card.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Willingness to start early (5:00 AM) and handle physical unloading.
