🚛 **CDL Class A Grain Hauler / OTR Truck Driver**
🏢 **About Us:** A major agricultural cooperative and grain exporter in Omaha, NE, is hiring experienced CDL Class A drivers for our hopper-bottom fleet. We transport wheat, corn, barley, and soybeans from farms to local elevators and export rail/port terminals. While volumes peak during the fall harvest, we offer year-round stability and consistent miles.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Regional/OTR Transport: Haul grain across the Midwest (200-500 mile routes) using modern Peterbilt and Freightliner hopper-bottom trailers.
• Load & Weigh: Monitor the loading process at elevators, verify weight tickets, and ensure proper load securement and tarping.
• Documentation: Manage Bills of Lading (BOL), grain quality certificates, and scale tickets.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to DOT regulations, FMCSA Hours of Service (HOS), and ELD mandates.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid CDL Class A with a clean MVR.
• Experience with pneumatic or hopper-bottom trailers is highly preferred.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Willingness to work seasonal overtime during peak harvest.
