🌎 **Cross-Border CDL Class A Driver (US-Canada-Mexico)**
🏢 **About Us:** A top-tier international transportation company in Detroit, MI, is hiring Cross-Border CDL Class A Drivers. We haul industrial goods, automotive parts, and food products across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Our fleet features late-model Volvo and Mack Anthem sleeper cabs equipped with APUs and modern telematics.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• International Routing: Drive cross-border routes, navigating major ports of entry (e.g., Ambassador Bridge, Laredo).
• Customs & Compliance: Ensure all cross-border paperwork (ACE eManifest, PAPS, PHL) is in order; work seamlessly with customs brokers.
• Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform rigorous DOT safety checks on the tractor and trailer.
• Freight Securement: Verify load securement using straps and chains to ensure DOT and cross-border compliance.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid CDL Class A with a clean MVR.
• FAST card, TWIC card, or valid passport/visa for seamless border crossing.
• Minimum 2 years of OTR experience, preferably with cross-border or hazmat endorsements.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
