📞 **Freight Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator**
🏢 **About Us:** A fast-growing freight brokerage in Atlanta, GA, is hiring a Freight Dispatcher. We connect shippers with our network of owner-operators and fleet partners. Your mission is to keep our trucks moving, negotiate the best rates, and ensure on-time delivery across North America.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Load Sourcing: Utilize load boards (DAT, Truckstop.com, 123Loadboard) to find high-paying freight for our fleet.
• Rate Negotiation: Call brokers and shippers to negotiate rates, pickup/delivery windows, and detention terms.
• Driver Coordination: Dispatch drivers, provide routing instructions, track loads via GPS/ELD, and resolve transit issues.
• Back-Office Support: Manage billing, collect rate confirmations, and follow up on accounts receivable.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 1+ years of experience in freight dispatching, brokerage, or 3PL logistics.
• Strong phone negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with brokers and drivers.
• Proficiency with load boards, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and CRM software.
• High stress tolerance and excellent multitasking abilities.
