🏢 **About Us:** A global trade and freight forwarding company in Savannah, GA, is hiring an Import/Export Logistics Manager. We manage complex containerized supply chains via ocean freight (Ports of Savannah, Charleston, Norfolk) and intermodal rail. We need a bilingual professional to coordinate the movement of goods from overseas factories to US warehouses.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• End-to-End Coordination: Manage the lifecycle of ocean and rail shipments, from factory pickup to final drayage delivery.
• Rate & Route Optimization: Calculate freight costs, ocean freight rates, terminal handling charges (THC), and customs duties.
• Documentation Mastery: Prepare and verify Bills of Lading (B/L), commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise daily with overseas agents, steamship lines, customs brokers, and trucking dispatchers.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding, specifically ocean and intermodal.
• Deep knowledge of Incoterms, US Customs regulations, and container logistics.
• Fluent English (written and verbal) for global agent communication.
• Proficiency in TMS and advanced Excel for freight auditing.
