🏗️ **Warehouse Material Handler (Construction & Fenestration)**
🏢 **About Us:** A premier manufacturing and distribution facility for PVC windows, doors, and facade systems in Dallas, TX, is hiring a Material Handler. We store raw profiles, IGUs (Insulated Glass Units), and hardware. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and comfort working with large, fragile, and heavy materials.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Receiving: Unload PVC profiles, glass pyramids, and hardware from supplier trucks; verify quantities and inspect for transit damage.
• Putaway: Store profiles on heavy-duty racks, glass on A-frame pyramids, and hardware in shelving bins.
• Order Kitting: Pick and stage custom window/door orders for installation crews based on spec sheets (size, color, opening mechanism).
• Loading: Safely load fragile glass and heavy frames onto flatbed trucks or box trucks (using overhead cranes or manual care).
• System Tracking: Log inventory movements in the WMS/ERP system or via Excel.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy, awkward items safely.
• Experience with overhead cranes or forklifts is a strong plus.
• High attention to detail (shipping the wrong window size causes massive delays on construction sites).
