🏢 **About Us:** A private commercial bakery in Portland, OR, is hiring a Route Delivery Driver. We produce fresh bread, baguettes, and pastries that must be on store shelves before doors open. Punctuality is non-negotiable. We value reliability and a steady, safe driving record.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Night/Early Morning Loading: Receive baked goods from the production team post-bake, verify tray counts, and load the cargo van (Peugeot Boxer / Ram ProMaster equivalent) without damaging the product.
• Route Execution: Drive a dedicated route of 25-30 stops (kiosks, supermarkets, gas stations) and unload efficiently.
• Documentation: Secure signatures on delivery manifests and handle Cash on Delivery (COD) or invoice payments.
• Reverse Logistics: Collect empty trays/racks and return them to the bakery.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid Driver's License (Class C / Non-CDL) and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work early morning hours (dispatch at 4:00 AM).
• Physical ability to load/unload bakery racks repeatedly.
• Strong time management and navigational skills.
