🏢 **About Us:** A major wholesale auto parts distributor in Houston, TX, is hiring a Route Driver for our branded Ford Transit cargo vans. We supply filters, brake pads, oils, and heavy components to local auto repair shops and retailers. If you prefer a steady, predictable daily route and know your way around a warehouse manifest, this is for you.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Load & Verify: Pick up the daily manifest at the warehouse, verify part numbers and quantities, and load the van securely.
• Route Execution: Deliver to 10-15 assigned auto shops and retailers per shift across the metro area.
• Documentation & Payment: Collect cash or process invoices, obtain signatures on proof-of-delivery (POD) documents.
• Fleet Care: Perform daily pre-trip inspections and keep the van clean and fueled.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Valid Driver's License (Class C / Non-CDL) and clean driving record.
• 1+ years of experience driving cargo vans or step vans.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working with BOLs and delivery receipts.
