📞 **Junior Logistics Coordinator / Dispatch Assistant**
🏢 **About Us:** A busy regional freight and delivery company in Savannah, GA, is hiring a Junior Logistics Coordinator to support our dispatch team. We handle daily LTL and full truckload deliveries across the US and Canada. You will be the eyes and ears of the operation, tracking loads and keeping drivers and customers informed.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Data Entry: Log new shipment requests, pickup/delivery addresses, and cargo details into the TMS/CRM.
• Live Tracking: Monitor driver statuses in real-time (dispatched, loaded, in transit, delivered).
• Communication: Relay route changes, address updates, or delays to drivers via phone/messenger, and proactively update customers.
• Customer Support: Answer inbound calls, resolve minor delivery issues, and de-escalate frustrations.
• Document Control: Print BOLs and dispatch packets for drivers; audit and file signed PODs upon their return.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• 6+ months of experience in logistics, dispatch, or customer service (or a strong willingness to learn).
• Comfortable with CRM/TMS software, MS Excel, and multi-line phones.
• Excellent verbal communication and multitasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of regional geography and transit lanes.
