Description

🏢 **About Us:**
A manufacturing plant in Indianapolis, IN, is hiring an Industrial Electrician to maintain our CNC machines, conveyor lines, and electrical panels. We don't just swap tripped breakers—we need a troubooter who can figure out why a line stopped, why a motor won't start, or why a sensor is throwing false faults. You must be able to read schematics, as our equipment ranges from modern VFD-driven CNCs to older legacy machines with lost documentation.

📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Emergency Response: Diagnosing faults, clearing jams, and getting the line back online fast.
• Preventative Maintenance: Inspecting cables, tightening panel lugs, and replacing worn contactors.
• Motor Controls: Troubleshooting starters, relays, thermal overloads, and limit switches.
• Motor Repair: Megging insulation, replacing bearings, and wiring post-repair.
• Sensors & Automation: Calibrating photo-eyes, proximity sensors, and simple PLC I/O.
• Documentation: Maintaining the repair log and parts replacement tracker.

🎓 **Requirements:**
• Calm under pressure: line downtime costs the whole plant money, and every minute counts.
• Meticulous work ethic: no "temporary wire nuts" left behind after a repair.
• Mandatory: Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent NFPA 70E / up-to-1000V certification.

✨ **What We Offer:**
• Target Salary: $65,000 USD annually.
• Full-time, on-site role in Indianapolis, IN.
• Top-tier diagnostic tools, provided PPE, official employment, and premium regional pay for your skill level.
