But in reality, a single mistake—sending the wrong gasket instead of an oil filter, or a cheap knock-off bearing instead of an SKF original—means a costly return, an angry customer, and a hit to our reputation.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Receiving pick tickets via RF scanner or paper orders.
• Locating parts on the racks by SKU, verifying the physical part matches the screen image.
• Checking quantities, sizes, and fitment groups (e.g., bearing bore sizes).
• Bagging parts securely to prevent transit damage.
• Printing and applying barcode labels to every bag; verifying scan readability.
• Checking batch numbers and expiration dates for rubber goods and fluids.
• Boxing orders: using dunnage to fill voids, taping, and labeling.
• Sorting outbound boxes by carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
🎓 **Requirements:**
• High attention to detail (SKUs often differ by a single letter or number).
• Ability to work with RF scanners, digital scales, and label printers.
• Prior warehouse or e-commerce picking experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic is mandatory.
