A brick manufacturing plant on the outskirts of Atlanta, GA, is hiring Production Workers for our kiln discharge and packaging department. We produce ceramic and calcium silicate bricks for facades and masonry. The work is physical and rhythmic: bricks flow continuously, and your job is to keep the line moving without bottlenecks.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Unloading finished bricks from the kiln carts or conveyors.
• Stacking bricks neatly onto wooden pallets in a cross-hatch pattern for stability.
• Sorting out cracked, deformed, or under-fired bricks.
• Cleaning up clay spillage and scrap around the presses and walkways.
• Assisting the operator during line changeovers or mold swaps.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• High physical stamina (you will lift thousands of pounds of brick per shift).
• Attention to safety (PPE, steel-toe boots, and respirators are mandatory in dusty areas).
• Punctuality and sobriety are non-negotiable.
