An industrial electrical contracting crew in Indianapolis, IN, is hiring a Journeyman Electrician (4th/5th year) for cable routing, panel building, and equipment hookups. We work in active manufacturing plants where downtime is expensive, so you must work fast, label meticulously, and never leave a "temporary" bypass without the plant engineer's approval.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Pulling and terminating heavy feeder cables in trays, conduit, and trenches.
• Building and wiring distribution panels and control cabinets from schematics.
• Hooking up motors, motor starters, contactors, and field sensors.
• Labeling all conductors and devices per one-line diagrams.
• Megger testing, continuity checks, and pre-energization safety walks.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Electrical trade education and a valid Journeyman license (up to 1000V).
• Experience pulling heavy cable and building panels.
• Discipline: You check the circuit ten times before throwing the breaker.
