You will be working in mechanical rooms, basements, and occupied tenant spaces, meaning precision and cleanliness are paramount.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• TIG Welding: Butt-welding carbon and stainless steel heating/chilled water piping without threads.
• Fabrication: Welding custom manifolds, headers, and equipment connection spools.
• Field Fit-Up: Cutting, beveling, and tack-welding pipes in tight, existing mechanical rooms.
• Pressure Testing: Hydrostatic or pneumatic testing of welded joints prior to insulation.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• TIG welding experience, specifically in confined or finished spaces.
• Ability to read isometric piping drawings.
• Extreme care: You cannot allow spatter or arc strikes to damage finished flooring or walls.
