📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Equipment Inspection: Checking bushings, insulators, and tank seals for oil leaks or corona discharge.
• Electrical Testing: Megger testing insulation, performing TTR (Turns Ratio), and winding resistance checks.
• Oil Maintenance: Filtering, dehydrating, and replacing silica gel breathers; checking conservator tanks.
• Control Wiring: Troubleshooting secondary circuits, replacing fuses, and tightening relay connections.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Electrical trade education and a high-voltage safety clearance (Journeyman/Substation qualified).
• Strict adherence to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and permit-to-work systems.
• Meticulous attention to detail: You notice the smell of hot oil or a darkened lug before it fails.
