🏢 **About Us:**
A bulk firewood and biomass supplier in Denver, CO, is hiring Seasonal Laborers for our outdoor yard. We supply hardwood and softwood to residents and municipal facilities. The work is highly seasonal and physically demanding: you will be processing, splitting, and bagging tons of wood before the first freeze.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Receiving: Unloading full-log truck deliveries and sorting by species and length.
• Processing: Cross-cutting logs into 14-16 inch rounds using professional-grade chainsaws.
• Splitting: Operating a 12-ton hydraulic log splitter to process rounds into firewood.
• Packaging: Stuffing split wood into poly net bags (10-15 lbs) and palletizing them.
• Yard Maintenance: Clearing bark, branches, and sawdust to maintain a safe, slip-free yard.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Chainsaw experience is a plus, but we will train on safety, cutting techniques, and chain maintenance.
• Extreme physical stamina and tolerance for all weather conditions (heat, rain, freezing cold).
• Strict adherence to safety protocols (PPE, chaps, hearing/eye protection).

• Target Salary: $35,000 USD annually (pro-rated for season) + volume production bonuses.
