🏢 **About Us:** A premium, full-service hotel and restaurant complex in Chicago, IL, is expanding our Front of House team. Our venue features a 120-seat fine dining a la carte restaurant and a large-scale banquet/conference facility. We are looking for hospitality professionals who genuinely love creating memorable guest experiences from the moment they walk through the door.
📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Full-Cycle Service: Manage everything from breakfast buffet maintenance (ensuring pristine chafing dishes and constant replenishment) to evening fine dining service, including tableside carving and wine decanting.
• Technical Proficiency: Master our POS system (Toast/Micros) for table management, allergy modifications, check splitting, and seamless payment processing.
• Menu Expertise: Articulate ingredients, preparation methods, and perfect beverage pairings to guests.
• Station Maintenance: Keep the waiter station immaculate—polishing glassware and silverware, restocking condiments, and ensuring water service is continuous.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Prior experience in fine dining, upscale hotels, or high-volume banquets.
• Basic English proficiency to comfortably interact with international guests and read menus.
• Physical stamina (expect to walk 10-15 km per shift) and a genuine, warm demeanor.
