📋 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on adult and pediatric patients with minimal discomfort.
• Collect throat, nasal, and other clinical swabs following strict protocols.
• Accurately register patients, verify insurance details, and label specimens in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques, infection control, and OSHA safety standards.
• Ensure the cleanliness, sterilization, and organization of the phlebotomy and procedure rooms.
🎓 **Requirements:**
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a clinical or laboratory setting.
• Expertise in difficult draws and pediatric phlebotomy is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and lab databases.
• Compassionate bedside manner and high attention to detail.
