Опис

An premier environmental consultancy based in the heart of Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to lead our most complex infrastructure and energy projects. We partner with major European developers, renewable energy firms, and municipal governments to ensure their ambitious plans align with stringent ecological frameworks. If you excel at translating dense scientific data into actionable, compliant project strategies, we want you on our team.

In this role, you will spearhead the end-to-end EIA process for large-scale industrial, transport, and energy sector clients. Your work will begin in the field, conducting rigorous baseline environmental surveys, analyzing soil and water quality, and mapping local biodiversity hotspots using ArcGIS. Back in the office, you will author comprehensive Environmental Impact Statements, detailing potential ecological risks and engineering robust mitigation strategies to protect local habitats and reduce carbon footprints.

You will also be instrumental in our sustainability advisory practice. This involves designing circular economy integration plans, calculating lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions, and advising clients on how to secure green financing through verified environmental performance metrics. Furthermore, you will lead public consultation sessions, presenting complex environmental data to stakeholders, local communities, and government regulatory bodies in a clear, persuasive manner.

We require a Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or Spatial Planning, accompanied by at least 4 years of experience in environmental consulting or impact assessment. A deep understanding of the European EIA Directive, Natura 2000 site protections, and Dutch environmental zoning laws is critical. Proficiency in GIS software, AutoCAD, and dispersion modeling tools will give you a significant advantage.

We offer a highly competitive gross salary of €65,000 per year, a generous holiday allowance, and a mobility budget. This is a full-time, remote-first position, allowing you to manage your field visits and client meetings flexibly, supported by our Amsterdam headquarters and a collaborative, forward-thinking team of ecologists and engineers.
