I am a recent Master’s graduate in Environmental Sciences, eager to transition my academic foundation into hands-on, field-based environmental consulting and compliance work. My studies culminated in a thesis focused on urban soil remediation strategies, which required extensive field sampling, laboratory analysis, and spatial data mapping. I am now seeking a junior or entry-level role where I can contribute to impactful sustainability projects while learning from seasoned ecologists.
Academic Foundation & Practical Internships:
- 2020–2023: M.Sc. Environmental Sciences, Technical University of Munich (TUM). Graduated with honors. Coursework included advanced hydrology, atmospheric dispersion modeling, and European environmental law (including the Industrial Emissions Directive and EIA Directive).
- Summer 2022: Field Intern at a large-scale agricultural processing facility. Assisted the site environmental manager in conducting a comprehensive waste stream audit. Helped digitize historical paper logs into the company’s new digital waste tracking system, identifying opportunities to divert organic byproducts to local anaerobic digesters.
Technical Toolkit & Methodologies:
- Fieldwork: Experienced in deploying passive air samplers, collecting groundwater grab samples, and operating handheld XRF analyzers for soil screening.
- Data & Software: Proficient in QGIS/ArcGIS for spatial analysis, R for statistical environmental data processing, and the MS Office suite.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Strong theoretical grasp of ISO 14001 frameworks, REACH regulations, and German federal emission control laws (BImSchG).
While my primary data analysis and report drafting can be executed remotely, I am fully prepared and eager to conduct regular onsite field assessments, soil sampling, and facility audits across the Brandenburg region.
