Description
An established EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractor based in Amsterdam is looking for a driven Renewable Energy Project Manager to lead our expanding portfolio of solar PV and onshore wind installations. Our order book is overflowing, and we need someone who can seamlessly bridge the gap between initial design and final grid connection.
Your core responsibilities:
1) Driving utility-scale solar and wind projects from the feasibility phase through to commercial operation, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
2) Performing detailed financial modeling, including LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) and ROI calculations, to present viable green energy solutions to corporate and municipal clients.
3) Acting as the primary liaison between our in-house engineering team, civil contractors, and electrical subcontractors on-site, resolving technical clashes before they cause delays.
4) Navigating the complex permitting landscape, preparing environmental impact documentation, and securing grid connection agreements with local network operators.
5) Overseeing the commissioning process, managing punch lists, and formally handing over the asset to the operations and maintenance (O&M) team.
Our ideal candidate:
1) Holds a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Sustainable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management.
2) Brings at least 2 years of proven experience managing renewable energy construction projects, with a solid grasp of inverter technologies, wind turbine mechanics, and high-voltage grid integration.
3) Possesses excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of negotiating with landowners, local municipalities, and equipment suppliers.
4) Is highly organized and treats project documentation with the utmost seriousness, knowing that a missing permit can halt a multi-million euro build.
