* Perform routine and emergency switching on 144kV and 245kV transmission lines and substations in remote, harsh environments.
* Conduct SF6 gas handling, transformer oil dielectric testing, and thermographic inspections on critical grid assets.
* Enforce strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work systems in a zero-incident safety culture.
- 2016 - 2022: Substation Operator, Alberta Power Transmission, Calgary.
* Operated and maintained 138kV and 500kV air-insulated substations (AIS), racking breakers, and isolating VTs/CTs for maintenance.
* Responded to storm-related outages, working 16-hour shifts in freezing winter conditions to restore power to rural communities.
