A prominent private lending and asset-backed finance firm in Denver, Colorado, is hiring a Collateral Risk Analyst & Appraiser. We originate loans secured by heavy construction equipment, commercial real estate, and specialized industrial machinery. We need a detail-oriented professional who can accurately value these assets, monitor their condition, and protect our financial exposure.
Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate the collateral packages submitted by prospective borrowers. You will research market comparables, review depreciation schedules, and calculate the appropriate loan-to-value (LTV) ratios. Once a loan is funded, you will conduct periodic physical inspections of the assets—visiting construction sites to verify that the excavators and cranes we financed are still on-site, operational, and properly insured. You will also monitor the public records for any liens, bankruptcies, or legal encumbrances on the pledged assets.
We are looking for someone with a background in asset appraisal, risk management, or commercial lending, with at least 2 years of experience. You must be comfortable driving to various sites across the Front Range and possess a strong understanding of equipment valuation and UCC filings. We offer a base salary of $75,000 USD, a vehicle allowance, and comprehensive health benefits.
