🏢 **About Us:** A state-of-the-art commercial printing facility in Toronto, specializing in carton packaging, labels, and premium promotional publications. We are hiring a proactive Print Production Manager to serve as the critical link between our sales team and the production floor.
📊 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Calculate and estimate production costs for complex print jobs based on client and sales team specifications.
• Select optimal materials (paper stocks, substrates, inks, coatings) and define the most efficient production workflow.
• Develop detailed job tickets and production roadmaps outlining every stage from plate output to finishing and packing.
• Monitor production timelines across all departments, ensuring on-time delivery and resolving bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with material suppliers, track warehouse inventory, and initiate procurement requests for paper and consumables.
• Troubleshoot quality deviations and technical issues in collaboration with the Production Director.
🎓 **What We Are Looking For:**
• Diploma or degree in Print Technology, Publishing, or Graphic Communications.
• 2+ years as a print estimator, production technologist, or workflow coordinator in offset, flexo, or screen printing.
• Excellent knowledge of the print materials market and production processes.
• Strong mathematical skills, proficiency in estimating software, and clear communication abilities.
