📏 **Core Responsibilities & Skills:**
• High-quality, rapid typesetting of complex books (fiction, textbooks with formulas, encyclopedias, catalogs).
• Designing modular grids and creating Master Pages for magazines, journals, and newspapers.
• Handling massive text volumes and automating layout processes using Paragraph/Character Styles and GREP.
• Designing and typesetting corporate brochures, annual reports, and presentations.
• Pre-press preparation: image resolution checks, PDF/X generation for offset plates, color profile management (CMYK, Pantone), and overprint settings.
🛠️ **Software Proficiency:**
• Adobe InDesign (primary tool for all layout and typesetting tasks).
• Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (image processing, retouching, and illustration prep).
• QuarkXPress (experience maintaining and updating legacy archive projects).
• Adobe Acrobat Pro (final proofing, commenting, and pinpoint corrections).
