Опис

🏭 **Print Production Technologist / Pressroom Manager**

⚙️ **About Me:** I am an experienced print production engineer with a specialized higher education degree, seeking a role in a modern print shop or large publishing house. I possess deep knowledge of the entire manufacturing cycle—from structural design and material selection to finishing and packaging. I have extensive experience with offset, digital, and flexographic printing.

🔧 **Core Responsibilities:**
• Developing and implementing optimal production workflows for books, periodicals, packaging, and labels.
• Calculating material consumption (paper, cardboard, inks, adhesives, laminates) and minimizing waste at every stage.
• Quality control: verifying incoming raw materials and finished products against internal and industry standards.
• Bridging the gap between the design department, the pressroom, and the finishing/binding floor.
• Managing post-press processes: lamination, UV coating, embossing, foil stamping, die-cutting, folding, and perfect binding.
• Collaborating with material suppliers and testing new paper stocks and inks on enterprise equipment.

🎓 **Skills & Qualifications:**
• Expert knowledge of printing and binding equipment from top global brands (Heidelberg, Komori, KBA, Horizon).
• Understanding of the physicochemical processes of ink/fountain solution interaction and defect resolution.
• Proficient in specialized MIS (Management Information Systems) for print estimating and production planning.
• Analytical mindset, high responsibility for product quality, and stress resilience during peak seasons.

✨ **Expectations:**
• Target Salary: $68,000 USD annually.
• Setup: Full-time, On-site (Chicago, IL). Open to overtime and travel for major project launches.
