Description

An engineering firm in Munich, specializing in industrial automation and energy-efficient equipment for manufacturing plants, is hiring a Project Management Assistant. Due to a surge in orders and the launch of three major modernization projects, our project office needs an energetic, systematic, and responsible individual to coordinate daily workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing project documentation: registering correspondence, drafting supplementary agreements, and tracking the signing of completion acts with contractors.
- Taking minutes during project meetings: recording key decisions, assignees, and deadlines.
- Monitoring project deadlines: tracking tasks in our internal PM software (Jira) and reminding team members of upcoming milestones.
- Communicating with subcontractors and suppliers: gathering status updates and arranging site access permits.
- Reviewing and sorting technical documentation, specifications, and blueprints before submitting them to the Project Manager.
- Preparing weekly progress reports and creating visual presentations for clients using PowerPoint.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering, economics, or management).
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and task trackers (Jira, Trello).
- Highly self-organized, able to multitask, and skilled at prioritizing under the guidance of the PM.
- Excellent written and verbal English and German skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex engineering documentation.

We Offer:
- An annual salary of €55,000, paid bi-weekly.
- A modern, comfortable office in Munich with excellent transport links and a fully equipped workspace.
- Standard 40-hour work week (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM).
- Full employment contract with 30 days of paid vacation and sick leave.
- Excellent career growth opportunities: free corporate training, mentorship from senior PMs, and a clear path to becoming a Project Manager within 1.5–2 years.
